We’re Lynn and John, a wife-and-husband duo who’ve been chasing flavors, cultures, and offbeat adventures together for years. The name TravelLynn is a playful nod to Lynn’s name and our passion for traveling. Inspired by the late, great Anthony Bourdain, we’ve roamed the globe to places like Japan, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, and Türkiye, soaking in the soul of each destination through its cuisine, people, and hidden gems. Whether it’s savoring street food in a bustling market or wandering down a quiet alley in search of the perfect photo, we’re all about embracing both the iconic tourist highlights and the roads less traveled.
As foodies, we love to cook and bring the world into our kitchen, recreating dishes that transport us back to our travels. John, a retired tech worker, is the master of the camera and always on the hunt for the next great shot, while Lynn, a soon-to-be-retired contracts manager, has a knack for uncovering unique destinations and planning unforgettable trips. Together, we’re excited to share stories, recipes, and snapshots from our past and future adventures.
